Frequently Asked Questions

Where should I store my CBD product?

Product should be stored at room temperature in a dry place.

What does PCR stand for?

PCR stands for “phytocannabinoid-rich.”

What is the difference between Hemp and CBD?

Hemp is the entire plant that contains many different kinds of non psychoactive cannabinoid properties, terpenes, fatty acids, lipids, and flavonoids. CBD is an isolated cannabinoid, used to target specific problems.

What is CBD Oil?

CBD oil is an essential oil that is extracted from the flower from the cannabis plant.

CBD oil is made up of one active compounds such as cannabinoid and terpenes. It’s been shown in research studies to be well-tolerated and non-toxic to humans.

Do CBD Products Get You High?

No. Regulated CBD oil from hemp does not contain THC in high enough concentrations to cause any “high”. Infact, legally, there has to be less than .3% THC. THC interacts with receptors in the brain that change brain chemistry, which can alter consciousness. CBD does not react with these receptors.

Is CBD Legal?

Hemp extract is considered a food product and is 100% legal. This is no different than the extraction of vanilla. The confusion occurs because people often mix up hemp with marijuana. Cannabis oil is not legal in states that have not legalized marijuana. This is not the case with hemp derived cbd oil, which can be sold and transported across state lines.

Will I pass a drug test if I take CBD?

Drug tests do not test for CBD. CBD properly produced from legal hemp cannot produce false results for THC.

Some CBD oil products that are made from hemp can contain some THC in certain instances. The legal limit for THC levels in industrial hemp is less than three parts in 1,000, or 0.3%. For every 1,000 mg of CBD, which is an extremely high dose, there is less than 3 mg of THC. You would have to be consuming absurd amounts of CBD for THC to show up on a drug test.

We don’t recommend that you use any CBD product that does not directly say that the product is completely THC-free. This means that ALL of the THC has been removed.

Will CBD Make Me Drowsy?

CBD has biphasic properties. This means that it may have different effects depending on dosage. In nominal doses, it is unlikely that CBD products will cause drowsiness. In higher doses, it is reported that it can cause drowsiness. Alcohol is a perfect example of a drug that has biphasic properties. In a small dose (a few drinks) alcohol can act as a stimulant and make the user feel more alert and uplifted. In large quantities (multiple drinks) it can become a depressant and make the user become unconscious.

Can I Give My Pet CBD Oil?

Yes, CBD is safe for pets. It is important to note the size and activity level of your pet before establishing a specific dose. It doesn’t hurt to consult a veterinarian who is familiar with the use of CBD on pets.
